Online Eyeglass Trends

With growing share of eyeglass sales occurring online, we began tracking website visits to identify, track and compare the top 40 web eyeglass retailers. Here is an overview of the trend in visits compared to visits to Amazon. As noted, there is a very strong correlation between visits to Amazon and eyeglass retailers over the past 2 years. We identified the top 40 online eyeglass retailers and track each of them on visits, share, dwell time, pages visited, bounce rates, sources, entry pricing on single vision and progressives, and frame offerings (branded/generic).
